Weddings - Ceremony

Civil or religious ceremonies may be held at Abbotsford.

The Library
SirWalter Scott's Library provides a wonderful backdrop for the ceremony. Overlooking the River Tweed and surrounded by a designed landscape, the house has a 'lived-in' feel, not too large or overpowering, it is historic, individual and different. 40 + guests.
The Chapel
The delightful private Chapel which is attached to the house, may also be booked for the ceremony. Maximum 30 guests.
The Gardens
The Gardens, particularly the Walled Garden and the Morris Garden, lend themselves to a colourful summer wedding, perhaps under a floral awning.
Photographic Venue
Abbotsford may be used as a photographic venue only. Please contact us for details.
