      LOCATION Abbotsford is just 2 miles from Melrose in the heart of the Scottish Borders and is easily accessible: Edinburgh - approx 35 miles, Glasgow and Newcastle - approx 70 miles. Major routes: A1, A68 and A7. Look for directional signs. From the roundabout on the A6091, take the B6360 where car and coach parking facilities can be found 1/4 mile on the left opposite the main entrance to Abbotsford.
