The Abbotsford Visitor Reception Building is currently being constructed and is due to open in April 2012.

This architect designed, fully accessible facility will be free to enter with plentiful car parking and will be home to our newly designed Gift Shop, Exhibition on Sir Walter Scott and Cafe.

The fully accessible Stylish Cafe will be situated on the first floor with stunning views across the estate through to the walled gardens and the historic house. The Cafe will seat eighty customers indoors with a wrap around balcony ideal for Alfresco dining in the summer months.

The fresh, seasonal menu along with hot and cold licensed refreshments and snacks will be available throughout our daytime opening hours. It is recommended that group bookings contact us in advance of their visit to make a group reservation for this facility.
